Survey Planet: Trait

I'm completely missing how to survey the Trait of a planet, specifically Aranae I. Trying to finish a mission and the only part I need is to figure out how to learn the planet's trait (survey at 93.88%). Can't find anything on the interwebs...

Got my own answer. You have to go to any unknown areas that show up in the distance on your scanner. Eventually you find something that needs more exploring, which reveals the trait.

Thanks. I should have added, you may have to launch into space and land random places but eventually you find the trait(s).

Hello, the things is, what traits do? I'have unlock one of them ''Continent Corails'' on Gagarin but i dont see anything descripting what he do...

I don't know what the traits do but I suspect they do nothing but are descriptors. Such as saying the planet is mountainous.
