Possible bug? Vanguard Moara's artifact

So i am at the part where i have saved Moara, i did so and spoke with Moara.
I thought i was given the piece at once and left the ship to do some exploring.
I realised i had not been given the piece and the map still told me to pick it up from the ship, i returned to Moara's ship with the intention to grab the artifact but iam now unable to dock with Moara's ship.
Anyone else that have struggled and overcome this problem?

I can dock with his ship but it keeps telling me to get it. I have killed the bad guys and spoken with him

I reloaded and went back and the artifact was behind Moara in the upper right of his cockpit window.

I reload the game, go away and sleep but doesnt help ? I am unable to enter in the ship again.

If anyone else is here because they're an idiot like me... select the ship. You have to select it to dock again.

I'm stuck as well as Olechi, I can't get back on the ship i have tried blowing myself up to restart that part of the mission but no, can't carry on till I get this thing.

To make docking easier try this. While the ship is in the hud hit F then E till it shows the ship name. If you are under 500 m away you should get the prompt to hail or dock.

It doesn't prompt you to select the ship if you left it because it's not an enemy. So you need to press whatever your select key is and it should let you dock.

Yes, as someone else said, you have to select the ship (press E on PC) and then the Dock options appears, I was stuck here forever, went out and ran a few errands, came back until I almost accidentally pressed E...
