No Russian language = no purchase

Although I can play this game in English just as well, I will not put my money in it unless developer puts an effort into making an official Russian language localization. I believe a language that has 258 million speakers in the world deserves to be included.

As I said before, people speaking Russian language live in all sorts of countries, including the US, Canada, Australia, UK, EU, Argentina, and post-USSR countries. Banning the entire language because of political events is discrimination of said people.

Why translate the game to Russian, if the game can't be sold in Russia due to to trade embargoes? Anyone outside of Russia would have to know another western language to survive, so what's the point in translating it? It makes no business sense to do so.

When you all put Putin and his oligarch buddies/pawns out to pasture, then make a second attempt install a sane government again, like you tried to do in 1991, then maybe you'll see more Russian language options.

I am actually surprised that there is no Russian in the game, maybe they think because of sanctions it not worth it anyway. I read you cant even buy games normally anymore and that most people just go pirate because the hoops Russians have to go through to actually purchase are now as hard as downloading a pirated version.

But if you are from Russia chances are that your cultural values are more sane, so why would you want to support this woke trash anyway? The game is trash even ignoring the wokeness btw.

If the developers of a game want to release a game in only their own language and the only language they speak is Zulu, that's their right. You act like you are entitled to have other people work to make for you what you want the way you want when you want. That's not reality. But you are allowed to appreciate it IF a developer DOES translate their game to Russian for you, how about that?

I speak 4 languages. I will speak the one the other people speak in the country I visit, not my own or only English because I'm not an arrogant prick. I actually never play a game in my native language. Even if there's a translation, it's going to be a better experience playing it in the language that is the developers' native langauage. A lot of subtle (and sometimes not so subtle) stuff is lost in translation even if translated by "professionals" because most professional translators suck at translating. Some things only work in the language it was originally written in.
