help for quick slot menu...
How the ♥♥♥♥ does the quick slot menu work, like I know how to put item in but how do I remove them…
Because I see no key that tell me how, and I tried a lot of things…
Also, I find it pretty dumb that you can put your spacesuit on with the quick slot menu but not remove it for some reason, or I missed something.
And top of that, I'm I the only one that for some reason the hide spacesuit option don't work at all or only the helmet making me remove the entire thing manualy every time ? :steamfacepalm:

So for the quick slot menu you set items as favorite to add and remove them from favorite to remove. The hide spacesuit option im sure its bugged mine used to work but once i changed spacesuit it stopped working and its very annoying

Sorry, I didn't understand exactly how you unfavorite an item you previously favorited. Like OP I know how to add an item, but I can't find how to remove it. I play with keyboard and mouse, not a controller, for information.

If I press B on an item already set as favorite, this item remains a favorite (heart icon).

What I've been doing to unfavourite item is select something you already have hotkeyed and choose to put that over item you want gone, then stick it back on hotkey spot where you actually want it.

Yes. The whole Favourite thing is broken. The only way to remove some items from quick menu I've found was to sell the item or just replace it with another.

It's been a while since I played Skyrim but I think it's always been like that in Bethesda games.

No. In Fallout 4 you can favorite and unfavorite items quite easily same as you can select certain items for crafting so it shows up when you're roaming - aluminium for example - and when you have enough you can deselect it.
Simple quality of life tweaks that theyve dumped just to make starfield feel different I suspect. Stupid isnt it.
