no stuttering for me at native 4K, sounds like your PC isn't as good as you think
Seelenschwarz Sep 1, 2023 @ 10:00pm
stuttering is better than random crashes every 3 - 10 minutes.

I tried those workarounds with settings, and FPS cap, nothing works. Also put the game to my OS-SSD , also does not work.

Hopefully there will be a patch soon, M.2 SSD (Samsung 980 PRO M.2 NVMe SSD 2 TB) should come on monday.

Currenty my OS is on a SATA SSD and also my games are on a seperate SATA SSD

AMD Ryzen 9 5900X
64 GB RAM
Sapphire Radeon RX 590 Nitro+ 8G GDDR5 DUAL

OS:
SSD 500GB Samsung 750 Evo 2.5

Games SSD:
Samsung MZ-76Q1T0BW SSD 860 QVO 1 TB 2,5

Windows 10 or 11? Are you using the latest drivers for your GPU?

i7 9700K & RTX 2060 low settings no stutters but my fps does tank in cities like 35 - 50, haven't done anything that requires aiming in cities anyway, other than that game's great. Try lowering 'Render Resolution Scale' at the top of the settings > display Idk
GrandTickler Sep 1, 2023 @ 10:03pm
there shouldnt be stuttering since this game precompiles shaders, unless u somehow messed that up. low fps on the other hand is a whole nother story

Windows 10, all drivers up to date, also update my Bios.

Ryzen 5 2600x and RTX 2060 have on High setting without the FSR around 40 to 60 fps, same in New Atlantis (in 1080, since can't go higher for some reason). Sometimes the game lags and the fps go down to 5, but a few ALT+Tab moves fix that for me. Besides that, the game seems to use no CPU and GPU for me... always around 10 to 20% usage

Is Windows fully updated? Out-of-date versions of Win 10 have been causing issues in some new games.

6GB/s isn't even kind of enough bandwidth in any universe.
no stutter here...ever with this game. Had a crash to desktop once though

i really on it to get the game work and tried different things, also add those optional Win 10 updates, DirectX , Runtimes, all is checked but nothing helps.

I still need to wait, mybe the M.2 is the cure or later the first patches, its EA this is a thing that can happends.
