flickering sun?

Anyone else getting a flickering sun? try looking directly at the sun and it flickers :(

Didn't your parents ever tell you you're never supposed to look directly at the sun?

It is flickering because they got the cheap guy to do the electrical work on that sun.

it's strange it happened when it was at dawn....now it's noon and the sun doesn't flicker...

Yeah i get this as well at some systems, at first i thought it was ships warping in, because they generate some kind of flash too, but no, this flashing/flickering/blinking comes from the sun. I ran into it multiples times.

Im at "Fermi IV-b" right now and the sun does it. I have flown towards it for a while now to check if something would happend, but no.

And i have 0 idea here, but: i thought maybe it a "pulsar star" or something, idk can that be it, and it emitting light?

Is kinda strange tho, the way it repeats doesn't see to respect some kind of pattern, i have seen it flashes 6 consecutive times in like 5 seconds, then stops, flashes 2 times, then 1 more and so on.

Should we record a whole sequence to check for a Binary or Morse code? haha

Well, now im pretty sure that the sun has nothing to do with it. The flash comes from nearby "Starborn" ships. Everytime they boost the ship (shift click), they get in and out of their "invisibility cloak" and that triggers that flash. Most probably, they are in the direction of the planet you are orbiting, not the sun.
