Into The Unknown Bug Please Help

Ive spent 2 hours trying to figure this out, I get to the Into The Unknown part of the main quest and I get to the (GO To ...) I go to Procyon III to find the signal to land and follow the anomaly signal to proceed with the main quest, but where my issue is, I go to Procyon III and there is no signal landing marker on the planet just a bunch of locations on the planet not the one i need. please help if you have fixed this issue, btw i have loaded back to a previous save 2 times and have tried walking in the general direction of where some of the locations are in the YouTube videos

Have you tried to go to the mission page and make it plot the landing space for you?

I noticed when i did that mission i had to use the auto travel stuff in the L menu. so im not sure why that wouldnt work for you.

that's part of the bug. When you click anything related to setting a course or landing, it just clicks. Because the quest didn't pick the destination. The ellipse doesn't go anywhere.

Adding to this, same problem. Don't have a previous save to go off so hoping they fix this soon...

I found a workaround on Reddit which worked for me, but it will skip you towards the end of the mission and you’ll miss some good parts of the story:

1. Press ~ to enter command prompt
2. Type “setstage 000160A9 600” and click enter

The step in the mission will now show as complete but it will jump you past a few steps in the mission and have you return to the lodge.

You should also understand using this command will prevent you from gaining further steam achievements on your save file if that matters to you.

Also not sure if this is related but when I went to land at the lodge from the mission menu, my game kept freezing. But if that happens to you just land at another location on Jemison and walk to the lodge it will work fine.

You also will get a prompt to set up your newfound power in the menu but you cannot do it until you talk to Vladimir at the lodge.

Well this is interesting. I thought I had self-induced this bug because as a complete fluke, prior to getting this mission I had landed on this planet on a whim to build my first settlement about 1000 meters from this anomoly. There is a Deimos ship salvage base next to my settlement, cleared that out then went exploring and found the anomoly. Scanned it. What are the odds that I would get a mission to scan that exact anomoly a few hours after doing it. =)

I guess I'm glad to see it's an issue others are having. Guess I'll just wait to proceed until it's fixed.

Commenting for visibility. I am also having this issue. Has anyone used the memory skip in the console with the addition of the achievement mod to maintain the ability to gain achievements? Really not looking to starting over.

I have the same issue without an acceptable save point to return to. The internet says it happens when you progress a faction quest before finishing this, restarting after 20~ hours is gonna be a blast.
