Aim Down Sight Bug
So just getting some general consensus on whether anyone else has encountered this bug.

When I go to aim down sights the game has this weird bug where it flips out and in of ADS, I know it's doing it because the weapon jutters like mad and there is the ADS sound but going rapid. Now I know I use Macro's on my mouse, I turned them off. Tried a new save, that did not work. Also tried to verify files, reinstalled the game and such. It's very strange.

It doesn't stop me from playing, as long as I don't use a scoped weapon. If I use a scoped weapon it forces the overlay and I cannot interact, but can move. Can't use inventory, can't get into the map to fast travel.

So, anyone else had this or any ideas?

Just to mention, I run this game at a solid average of 120 Frames on Ultra. I definitely don't have an issue of performance for this, which is why it's weird. I don't even know when it actually started to happen.

Edit:
I also tried to toggle ADS in accessibility.

Ello!
Having the same problem on my end as well. Unsure what causing it. Aiming down sight on any weapons cause it to make flicking sound, as with scope it's in and out of sight as if the aim button is being click multi-time. I try messing round with control setting but learn it isn't the mouse or aim sensitivity. I'm making a guess it might be the controls binding as many use the same button and might overwrite one another. I have search in discussions and surprise no one but you And I are the only one having this problem...maybe?

Ye, well at least we can look around for a fix mayhap.

My controller had a weird red circle that flashed when I tried to ads. Plugged in a different one and now it works. Maybe try rebooting your controller. Was having the same issue as you

You probably have your options set to make ADS a toggle instead of hold to aim. Thus, when you *do* hold to ADS, it's rapidly toggling back and forth!

I had the same problem and I found I had to steady aim scope which and secondary fire on the same key. Make sure those are on different keys and you are good to go!

I have the default mouse/keyboard settings. Before today ADS worked fine, but now using ADS it goes in-an-out all crazy sometimes. Sometimes ADS works, sometimes it doesnt.

I am having the same issue on PC, any fixes? I have check all settings mentioned here, and no issues with that.

I have a razer mouse, I closed razer synapse and that seemed to fix it.

I tested this out. Chuck_Kneezy is right. This is a conflict between your "Secondary Fire" and your "Steady aim scope" keys in your bindings. Near the bottom of the all the key bindings, way below where it should be is your "Steady aim scope" key. Change that and the problem is instantly gone.

Okay thanks I will try. Hmm I thought that 'secondary fire' for most weapons was the scope?

Those keybinds were both set as different for me. I don't know why closing razer synapse worked for me. Is secondary fire also ads or is steady scope ads? Right click should be ads.

That didn't work for me...maybe i'm doing something wrong. So I just turned on ads-toggle in the accessibility options

Unbind and rebind Secondary Fire. Fixed it for me.

I'm having this same problem, and none of these suggestions have seemed to help.
