Vasco won't say my name.

So i chose Wilson as my name but vasco just called me captain. Then i tried to change my name to Eli,Howard and Will so i can see if it even works, but it didn't

Hopefully, like Fallout 4, they're going to expand this list.

I think they were a bit confusing when they advertised this. Especially since many (myself included) thought Vasco was text to speech, but he really does have a voice actor.

I use the English version and I have chosen one of the names on the list, Xavier. But there is no way Vasco can call me by my name. It just says captain. Any ideas?

Thanks for this! I looked all over yesterday for a list, but they were all well before the game came and had only a couple of possible names.

Do you mean English voice? Because I use English voice but German subtitles and he doesn’t say my name as well although he should according to a list I saw online

Vasco is voiced by an actual person and not a robot, therefore it's logical that he can only say a finite number of names(and for that to work you have to be playing the game in English). The list is pretty decent, though...well over 1000, so if you can't find a name that you like, Ah, well then there is no pleasing you.
