Why Pause on Alt Tab?

There is no reason to auto pause the game on Alt Tab but for some reason the devs thought it was a good idea. Anyone else annoyed by this feature? I can always hit esc to pause the game but now I have to wait for the stupid oxygen bar to Regen instead of alt tabbing to do something else while it refills. Also anyone have any tips to deal with it? There is no option to disable this in the settings

I was trying to figure out if it was my GPU or CPU that was bottlenecking, but it was impossible since the game basically shuts off when you look at the Task Manager.

Found this fix posted by the community on Reddit. It fixed the problem for me so it should work for you guys as well.

Spoiler in my answer below but it helps allot when you get it.

You will end up with a 'power' called personal atmosphere where it refreshes your O2 and maintains it for as long as the power is up.

If you have a second monitor you can put the Task Manager or other things you want to 'keep an eye on' on that and then load the game on your first monitor.
