Grunt work quest broken?

Killed the teramorph, told to go and look at it with the npc under a microscope but she doesn't path to the research station, just goes into a idle animation looking at random ♥♥♥♥ in her hand and walking sometimes on the balcony. Cant talk to the NPC who initialised the quest to end it after killing the teramporph so im just suck on a bugged quest not able to progress, loading just locks her in idle animation, any one else encountered this?

ive got the same issue, havent been able to fix even after loading a save and restarting game
