Body Type 1 and 2, both result in SHE/HER??
How can you select yourself as being Male? On the forum here several people are saying via bodytype, but regardless of which Body Type and Walk I chose, when I try to complete the character, it says SHE/HER.

How can I choose my gender??

That's odd. It's he/him for me. Try clicking it?

body type 1 is male and 2 is female and when you enter in your name you can also change your pronouns from he/him they/them and she/her with a toggle key after you type your name but before you click finish

My pronouns are TERMINATOR/TERMINATED. I didn't see those as an option either.

I typed my name, but clicking on SHE/HER does not change it. My Body Type is set to 1, as is my walk. This is so frustrating and I'm not even in the game yet.

There is a button to change it.

Where??? There is no button that I can see anywhere.

I can confirm that there is no button to select HIM/HE, SHE/HER, or whatever. Also, your gender does NOT depend on your Body Type. Your gender depends 100% on the Profile (Personnel Record) that is chosen right at the beginning. After that, it never changes, regardless of what character changes you make. What an awful way to design a Character Generator.

They should think about just disabling it and having a "generic" setting or something if it is so confusing to implement. Probably extra confusing for foreigners that have English as second language.

When you name and finalize your character you can change your gender.

Poor UI and UX design is Poor regardless what your user's first language is. Btw, mine is English.

It just shows that there wasn't any extensive testing before they released it, because any tester would have reported some of these options as being poorly implemented.

I finally found how to do it. The game looks beautiful, but from a user experience perspective, it's been one of the worst I've seen so far. Not intuitive at all.

I'm also quite disappointing that you can't really fly the ships, it's just video cutscenes to take off and land. I was shocked to see that.

Hmmmm... strange to see a Bethesda title get such a lukewarm response.
Maybe they are now the "old guard" just like Bioware, slowly failing to catch up with the times...
Kinda sad really.

press esc when you are at the page to name your character then press B to change pronouns

When you are creating your character for the first time, at the bottom right or somewhere it will say X Pronouns or something along those lines to change them. It doesn't show it in all screens.
