How do you land on Deimos ship yard

I have a quest where I have to apply for a job at Deimos ship yard but I can't figure out how to long on the shipyard. There is a video online of the quest and its showing that there should be a prompt to dock however I can't seem to get it. Anyone else have this issue? I'm playing on KB+M.

You have to "lock" the lv 50 space station icon with E. Then get close enough to dock.

I hailed the shipyard and they said it was ok to dock. I moved closer and I think the ship is bumping against bits of the shipyard. I can't set course to the Shipyard as the UI says I am already there. Pressing E and I get up from the chair. R does nothing. I am using a keyboard. Trying to select the station has me firing at it.

So how do I dock?

You have to hold R in when it becomes available

I have L,V,Q,X and tab available. X= set course tells me I am already there.

I have lost hull integrity bumping into the space station, I have just exploded.

I tried travailing to phobos and back again. Could not target staryard as my ship was fixated by a passing ship and I could not focus back on staryard.

Went to phobos and back again - worked at last. The R appears when I got within 500m.

The key is to just keep going away and returning until it works.

having the same issue... go to spot(using controller so A is my go to) and press A and nothing, no communication etc... this is one of those things where "help" and the game is seriously lacking.

So, I flew my ship to the diamond caret on the star yard. When I got really close, I hit A (I use a controller) and then got a prompt to dock, holding X.

on PC, use E to cycle through the ships in the display until you have the Star Yard selected (easier if you point the camera to it), then use E to Hail and R to Dock (surely within 500m, not sure if more)

Just get within 500m or so of the docking point and then under the info box you should see Dock R and Hail E. If you aren't seeing that, make sure you are targeting the dock, then try again.

It works my friend! I just did it, it's dumb, fly close enough where you can see most of the shipyard, stop, hit F to open your scanner, press (dont hold) E on the "lvl 50 demios shipyard" floating text to select it, then you will have two options, E for hail, and R for land.

nope it doesnt work. at least i didnt but this as i did with another 69€ tripple A and cyberpunk.
