Not a single specific spec of your PC was listed. What does this "good" gaming PC have in it?

Yeah I have all of these, I'm just slightly below what the recommended specs are and I have all of these issues, I can run cyberpunk on high, cod mw2'22 on high, baldurs gate on high - most games on high.
This game makes my cpu regularly top out at 100% with nothing running in the background, I think the audio problems are related some how to the lag itself.
One way I figured out to get rid of alot of lag and stuttering was to lower the resolution and play in windowed mode, try that and see if it helps with the audio issues too.
Usually, for me, the first line of audio is desynced with the character's mouth and movement, but the 2nd or 3rd line is usually synced up. After loading screens or entering a new area the audio always pops and stutters and sometimes for a solid minute all I can hear is my companion's feet and my feet, nothing else.
(I5-9600k, rtx2060super, 15.59gb ram, all drivers and so forth up to date)

My setup is quite old, RTX 2070, 4930k, quite a lot of RAM with 64 GB here tho - no issues playing on ultra settings. For the sound I would try setting the sample rate down to 44100.

might be an obvious question but did you install it on an ssd? that's mandatory, not optional.
BattlemasterJ Sep 1, 2023 @ 2:30pm
I had all the stuttering problems... went and bought an SSD, moved the files to the new drive, runs like butter. Insta fixed the stuttering, lagging, sound issues for me. If you have and old spinny HDD... upgrade!
