how to stand up out of pilots seat?

I dont see anywhere in the bindings under the settings tab that tells me how to get out of the pilot's seat and walk around my ship while in space, which key is it?

Just hold E (by default) to stand up from the pilot seat to walk around the ship while in space. For some reason there is no button prompt telling you that you can do that.

But no, Its (E) gotta hold it. Beats me why Bethesda bound get up to interact key.

note - you need to be in scanner mode (at least that's how it worked for me) and if you already have something targeted so that E keeps on hailing their ship, hit ESC to unselect them

oh just wait for a fight scene and your standing up to get out of your seat....why is that even option missles inbound and i'm standing up :(
