I have no more hopes for TES6
Bethesda's track record has been questionable with things such as the Fallout 76 fiasco, but after Starfield's state, I firmly think there will be nothing good for TES6.

TES6 was announced in 2018. Days ago, Phil Spencer himself confirmed it's still "five plus years away". We're looking at AT LEAST A DECADE since it got announced until it releases! During this time frame of 10 years, Morrowind, Oblivion and Skyrim were released, aside from other Bethesda games like Fallout 3. What's taking them so long? Are they also adding 1000s of maps to it with nothing to do?

Nearly TWELVE (12!!!) years since Skyrim and this game's launch state is much, much worse. Extremely ugly NPCs that make Oblivion's look like models. Not saying Skyrim's launch was flawless, but it had entertaining bugs, some which still exist, such as the Giant Space Program. More than a decade later and New Atlantis is barely bigger than Whiterun. Hell, even Cyberpunk, an RPG turned looter shooter stuck in dev hell for almost a decade, managed to pull off a bigger city.

Also Jeremy Soule, the composer of the Elder Scrolls games soundtrack, confirmed that he was not asked to work on TES6. The guy that brought us iconic tracks such as these:

Literally Souleless.

I'm looking forward to Skyblivion and Skywind more than TES6.

Same. Pagliarulo's writing is god awful and it shows especially in this game and Fallout 4. You are the "Starborn"? Seriously just taking "Dragonborn" but in space. Worst part is there's a chance he might write TES6. Can't wait for Redguardborn.
I'd rather have a remaster of the older games in the same vein as the Solsthein DLC for Skyrim, but expanded.

Todd Howard can easily re-release Skyrim like at least two more times before we hear anything about ES6, so why would they even bother giving us hope for the new entry?

But at least "The Elder Scrolls Six" won't be nicknamed:

"Starfield NOT in Space." ;)

Go buy them, then you will have the power to do what you want. But I agree no one except you should be able to makes choices. Like how dare they own something and makes choices with out your approval. Oh crap I used Pronouns, someones gonna get hurt.

Last good game was Oblivion, Skyrim with about 50000 mods is playable, story still sucks bigtime.

The sidequests and mainquest in Oblivion are Excellent though Morrowind is still the best TES game to date.

I hope enough people refund Starfield that Bethesda rethinks using creation engine for TES6. Then again, it's not so bad in a medieval setting they could get away with it. A space game with no atmospheric flight or ground vehicles is already outdated.

We'll be hitting Michigan (Hell) soon.

The money flowing in and the toxic positivity of people who base their entire personality around AAA games (looking at the likes of /r/gamingcirclejerk and Twitter) will likely encourage no change at all.
The no vehicles part is an embarrassing way to mask how small the "open world" cells are. If you had a horse or power armor equivalent (like all the other games had up until now), you'd reach the invisible walls within minutes.

if tes6 will look anything like starfield it's going to suck.
In a perfect world, TES6 would definitely surpass Baldur's Gate 3, at least visually, worldbuilding, character creator etc, seeing as it will be released in about 5-6 years from now (or so they say). But this is not a perfect world, so I fully expect it to be wide as an ocean and deep as a puddle. Barely a notch above Starfield.
Hey, at least we'll be given the generous offer to pay $40* extra to play TES6 a week early, with a preorder bonus of 500 ato- I mean, TES Coins to buy your favorite mods.

Well, it says "Starfield" on the page, so that's what it is.

The question is obvious isn’t it ?

They pushed back the elder to work on starfield . Which would explain now that starfield is done , they announced ( I’m sure I read ) the ramping up of the new elder scrolls game .

creation engine's not a problem, don't listen to trolls and uninformed bandwagoners who claim it is, bethesda's programmers are. no matter which engine they switch to, having to recode the entire game in it will mean it will be just as buggy, if not more.
