also its a lot easier to make ugly models compared to pretty ones, ever noticed how every streamer ends up creating the most ugly character they can make just for the lolz? i assume bethesda did the same to save time
edit: at least the character creator allows us to make desireable results. that used to be a lot worse in fallout/skyrim
we'll have to rely on modders to un-uglyfy the npcs
The presets looks fine, the issue with them is in the engine, as I said some shapes comes off very weird and it has been that way in prior games as well.
The lack of body differences is extremely bizarre they had an amazing RPG system that before. Man if Elder Scrolls updates with this level of garbage it's going to kill Bethesda off.
Before they had a modular system now it's completely static.
That's a load of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Not even REMOTELY close in the same design or coding. Not even remotely. This doesn't use CREATION ENGINES modular body system with adaptable bodies. These are completely static choose A or choose B. I can only assume you never played any Elder Scroll games.
I´ve played all of them. But we are talking about the modern ones.
I could tinker a lot with the presets, albeit its not a very good CC, that we can agree on
You are trolling and it shows. Or you have never played a Bethesda game before.
Having a look at female presets they all look like dudes on hormones trying to transition. This is not an engine limitation. It's a face sculpting issue.
Mods will fix this easily based on the very same engine.
I don´t agree. There are plenty of presets that look feminine, albeit like with ie. Skyrim and Oblivion, its hard to get those sculps within the engine.
You seem to be stuck on hating.
You can be certain, that this will change with UE5
You just know those mods will be banned because of some nonsense reason.
They could hire better one.... just simple....
Practically every single preset female looks like a dude. Face sculpting is not an engine issue. Mods will fix this using the same engine. If manly hormone-women is your thing, that's ok. Not judging. But that won't change reality.
No one can ban mods. Bethesda has 0 control over the client-side of the game, where mods are.
