I was having the same issues for both OP and your comment. But I did find out that you can disable or clear a hotkey. Basically I use the left arrow key and remembered what it was originally set for so I could remap it later. Once you click on a keybind area when it is used by another key it will give you the option to clear it out with the R key. It takes some tries to get it right.
So, VoiceAttack does work with Starfield? I have been using it with other games for a long time and was hoping to use it with Starfield as it helps physically.
Also - are there a lot of keyboard keys (key binds) used in Starfield or is it mostly joystick/controller?
Any info would be great - getting excited about SF.
Based on what you said, it appears that Voice Attack intercepts the key press before Starfield does, this looks promising. I'm going to try to set up something in iCUE to see if it works. I will post my results either way.
Yes. But you must run VA in as admin to work in most all games. Also if anyone is interested Stream Deck has an icon set that you can use.
Good to know about Icue. I have a full setup for Icue. That maybe something I would want to do for other games also. Locking those keys helps.
Tilde as it stands has a very again kind of important purpose at least for me in terms that I actually like to bind it to something in game and also like to use it since it's my Steam shortcut key (with a combination of some other function keys like CTRL or CTRL-ALT-Tilde for the overlay and ALT-SHIFT-Tilde for screenshots)...
