New ship

I dont remember where to go for buy or build new ship :'(

i dont know what its like for anywhere else but theres a technician you can talk to in new atlantis to see available ships

most ports stations have one. - though they are kind of expensive. - i've gotten 2 new ones by well - stealing them. (one pirate ship at lvl 3. and an eclipise? shio at lvl 5. both were landed - 1st one had to kill 4 pirates.. 2nd one - was actually empty sitting on a landing pad at a base eclipse controlled. - w/ no guards around! they were a good 100 meters or so away at the base..

found a 3rd - but was to high for my skills. (not sure if it was b or c. b- would be my guess. the door was only an advance lock.

side note - selling ships isn't going to make a ton. you have to register the ship first and that seems to be like 890-90% of what you can sell it for.

ok so quick question. how did you get into the ships that were landed to steal them ? every time i find one the hatch says inaccessible.

my new ship, a class c was locked, and had the stolen/mark symbol. , but only needed advanced security to unlock it. and then had to get class c pilot skill to actually fly it.

all were found out in the "wild" as it were. heck the last two were on the same planet.

i've modified it some.. doesn't look as sleek.. but pretty much matches the starter ship in speed and maneuverability.. but has more hull and shields. plus more crew. research/pharmacy.. and industry workshop.

OMG i just noticed - this ship doesn't have a BED. has hab quarters though! GRRR! ill have to check different modulus now. -

*edit fixed it. seems the deimos beth 2x1 has a bed but tailyos 2x1? doesnt. Grr. - they really should tell/let you see whats in side a part.

its a pain to run back and forth to check.

i found what was happening and why i was not able to get into those ships, my piloting skill was not high enough. Apparently i was trying to break into class B and C ships. after leveling up to class B i can steal those. game lacks some information on whats needed to do such things and really frustrated me lol or i just didnt pay close enough attention idk
