even with 4080 the sound is lagging out and everything is out of sync

Pretty sure you are wrong. I have a laptop 4080 which is about equal to a desktop 4070 or 3080 and I can get stable 60fps (I have games locked to 60 via nvidia control panel by default) with no fps drops even in big cities on ultra settings (but shadows on high) and 2560x1600 resolution with FSR on.

FSR and resolution scaling saves the most fps. Maybe people aren't using this to their full extend. They need to set resolution scaling for FSR to 50% or 65% or something to make proper use of it.

I got RTX 4070 12Gb, 32gig ram, i7 13700 and I play everything on max, only shadows set to high, over 100 fps indoor, on planets 60-100 depends how much vegitation, only place I get below 60 fps are at New Atlantis so far, I guess there will be poor fps at the other faction capital cites aswell, but overall it works atleast for me.
PS: I'm not using the latest drivers and I play at 1080p.

Not sure that is the minimum. I have RTX 4070 TI / 7900X and getting 73-75 FPS. Running at 3840x1440. I did leave all the settings at default, which looked to be mostly Ultra...

No, you don't. I have a 1660 ti and it is running spectacularly well.

4090 + 7950x3d 4k and you cant have stable 100 fps - avarage 80fps is this is a joke?
i dont see UE5 engine here but old Fallout 4 engine upgraded with better textures.
FSR looks better then no FSR but does not matter if its FSR on or OFF for performance.
when you go to render 100% from 75% on FSR your FPS will go doooown to like 62-70
Im not sure about game yet as im playing but from technical point of view this is a fail of the year and lie.

It has barely anything to do with GPU. It's CPU bound.

Full HD Medium settings (more you dont need graphis is not soooo good) 3060 TI min 75 FPS. Much often 144 FPS (vsync cap) old drivers
FSR2 100 % scaling

Im running it with a Rtx 3060 Ti and works fine. Constantly 60 FPS only in New Atlantis it drops to 50-55 FPS. Graphics are mostly on low.

really? runs mighty fine on my trusty 3080/9900K combo in 1440p but I agree, the game needs optimization. it's way to ressource hungry but that's probably the burden of the old engine.

that res are you at that makes big change too my 3080 at 4k i have lower to high and use FSR2 at 70% scaling to get a locked 60 im sure at 1440 or 1080 it would be much faster

I get about 40 fps on a pc that played cyberpunk at 60 fps on launch.

It legit gave me a panic attack it runs so poorly. IDK if I'm going to just limit the game to 40 max and trudge through it or refund and try again later. Also, weirdly, most the settings don't seem to matter.

I've noticed everyone having problems has a 2000 or 3000 card though.

Minimum 4080 for a game that looks like it was made in 2010.

980ti at 1080p is good enough for me
