Game breaking bug - Cannot fire weapons

Anyone else had this? Restarting, earlier saves (I didn't have that many tbf), updating or nothing fixed it for me. Only option seems to be to create a new character and restart the whole game.

Firearms have not worked since the very first firefight - only melee weapons work for me :(

Save a lot with custom saves!

Have the same Problem. Cant shoot anymore. Melee Weapons going but no Shooting. Its the same f...Bug like in Fallout 4.
I try every Thing what i can do but nothing work. Think must start a new Game.

found a fix bring up console command, do "sexchange" command and try weapons. Can do command again to return to original character and weapons still work for me. does reset some character customization but better than creating a new character as i saw suggested.

Had this happen to me if you still need it and don't want to lose achievements from using console commands go to New Atlantis commercial district, find the enhance! shop and pay 500 to change your gender and it'll fix then another 500 if you want to go back to the original gender

You don't even have to pay twice. You can just pay once to change your face and confirm. You don't have to actually change anything.

This just happened to me a 2nd time. Changing my appearance doesn't seem to work anymore.

You can change the walk style in the enhance shop, that should let you keep your appearance and fix the bug, just did this to fix mine.
