Cant talk to anyone

7 hours in. Just did the first part of the bounty hunter quest on mars. Go back into the city to turn it in and cant talk to anyone. normal interactions work with the e button but just cant talk. Loaded up a previous save and still wont work. Anyone experience this and know how to fix it?

I am having this same issue it started with one mission so I was like I will just do something else and comeback later now its 3 different missions I cannot progress

Shoot a guard and holster weapon when they try to arrest you it will re enable dialogue

non of my npcs have voices :( i have tried changing sound sampling rates to reinstalling the games language

I talked to the robot outside of my ship and it fixed it

ran into the same problem. Have you found any fixes? I tried both the comments in here but neither worked for me.

Edit: I was able to fix the bug by loading up an older save, but thats a real bummer

which robot? Vasco or one of the small robots at outposts?

I couldn't talk to any NPC's to progress quests, until I spoke to my companion a couple times, and then I could talk to NPCs again.

I haven't had this issue but have you tried

A. Restarting the game?
B. Verifying game files?

I am having this issue too. Unfortunately, it happens at a moment when I'm totally over-encumbered with so much weight (items I'm trying to sell to a vendor) that my health has gone down to essentially zero and I can't really move or engage in combat without risking nearly certain death. If anybody finds a solid fix for this, please post.

I've not been able to get any response from ANY vendor on Alpha Centenari for a few days now. I have had the game uninstalled, removed ALL MODS. I've stripped it down to nothing and even started a new game with the same results. I have no idea what the hell is going on with this game. It's Broken for me.

does a new game, started with no mods, work? Its just a test to try, I don't have much on this one either...
