Full screen?

Hello, the game does not run in full screen. I changed the resolution, tried shift-enter , uninstalled and reinstalled but my game stays like that.
I have a 3070 oc and a Samsung Odyssey 7 screen.
Any ideas?

you uninstalled a 125gb game to see if the fullscreen option would magically appear?

There must be a programmer here who can explain the choice of not adding exclusive fullscreen or a FOV slider? (ignoring that it's not just because consoles can't handle the extra screen FOV).

The window size thing that was grey out was throwing me off...
Better than I thought, but still, I want my full 5120x1440

So hold up. I’ve got a 49” UW at 5120x1440 as well, you’re telling me even though the greyed out box says 1280x720 in BFS, I am actually getting 3440x1440(21:9)? How did you figure that out? Just curious where I can look. That makes me feel a little better.

Try reduce your desktop resolution to the one that you want to play before open the game.

There is no problem, and no need for a solution. It's DX12, it doesn't need exclusive fullscreen.

Pretty sure you can set borderless to false in the INI.

Like skyrim you can change it in the ini, you can find it in documents/mygames/starfield.

DX 12 does not have exclusive fullscreen mode.

Fyi borderless fullscreen is pretty much no different, just better.

Fullscreen for a lot of people increase performance and stability.
