First Impressions review

Since we're not allowed to review the game yet, here is my first impressions review for those wondering if they should get it now, or wait:

Do I recommend the game?
Yes, but due to performance issues likely caused by a bug, I'd hold off for now, unless you're okay with 40-50 / 50-60 fps at 1440p at the moment.

Some thoughts:
I had high expectations for this game ever since it was announced, which became even higher expectations once I saw gameplay. The game looks and sound great, and it feels great to play. The characters are compelling and their voice acting feels like a step up from previous Bethesda games.
However, the performance is the biggest issue right now, using an RTX 3080 with a Ryzen 5 5600X which can handle any game that I throw at it, is for some reason struggling to run this game, playing on Ultra at 1440p sees the performance dip to the low 40s in populated areas, high 50s in exploration. High at 1440p barely any difference, Medium sees me gain maybe 10FPS. Using either CAS or FSR2 doesn't do much either, I'll hover around 60fps, usually dipping into the low 50s in populated areas at High, regardless of upscaling option.
Seeing how little effect the different graphics options have, I suspect this is a bug and not the game being demanding enough to require this, so I expect that the next patch or two will fix this issue no problem.

FPS means nothing without knowing your system specs. I see you did mention some of them, but would have helped to state them in the beginning as a reference.
Also, Ultra may be a bit too much for your system (just MHO)

For this game possibly, but every other game that I play, apart from Cyberpunk 2077, I always max out every setting and get great FPS well above 60fps. That's why I decided to go for Ultra in this game as well
