Graphical settings for medium/high - help

What setting would you recommend for medium-high?
What does VRS do and how much resources it takes?
What are your exp with depth of field so far?
Which one of the settings can be lowered or disabled? - cant see the "God rays" my favourite useless setting....

VRS is variable rate shading and is a setting that helps performance at the cost of some shadow/lighting quality. Depth of field I always turn off because I prefer being able to see everything than it being extra cinematic, that also goes for motion blur and film grain. It would help to know your specs, but I would just use the medium quality preset and turn off dof, blur and grain and see if it runs good enough for you.

yeah film grain off - motion blurr on low just to see how it goes....Depth of field on low can sometimes work good....

Well I have 2080Ti and 9900k - Im running mix of medium/high on 75-80fps - prologue.
I just prefer lower settings A:stable FPS B: my current case has terrible airflow cooling and I prefer stable temperatures....

I just never understand these settings: this one makes "dynamic occlusion ray particles" - yeah mate the ♥♥♥♥ does that mean ey?
