Right analog stick not working?

I’m currently having trouble with my right analog stick on my Xbox controller. Anyone else having trouble with this? My left one works for fine but right isn’t working at all.

Hey mate. In some research I saw this is an issue of steam's api taking over. To get around this issue, (1) completely close Steam, (2) plug in/connect your controller, then (3) restart steam and open the game. I can confirm this fixed the issue. However, every now and then, it comes back if I go to a menu or I get up from the game for a while and come back.

If anyone has this issue still. I used to have it all the time. The same issue the solution could be as dumb as something pressing on your keyboard.
That alone made my right joystick not work. Everything else on the controller worked except the right stick. Now when it happens it’s always because of that.
