Starfield is Woke
As an avid fan of Bethesda Game Studios, my excitement for Starfield was palpable. Having thoroughly enjoyed titles like Fallout 3, Skyrim, and Fallout 4, my expectations were high, and I pre-ordered the premium edition for early access, eager to immerse myself in a new open-world adventure.

The initial hour of gameplay was filled with a sense of familiarity. The mechanics, the immersive environment, and the interactions with NPCs transported me back to the feeling of past Bethesda titles. I spent a considerable amount of time navigating character creation, pondering over my character's background, appearance, and traits, anticipating a thrilling journey ahead.

However, my enthusiasm took a disappointing turn as I reached the end of the character creation process and was presented with an unexpected addition: the selection of pronouns. It was disheartening to see that Starfield, a game I had eagerly anticipated, had incorporated woke elements that detracted from the immersive experience. While I believe in diversity and inclusion, I also believe that a game's primary focus should be on delivering an enjoyable experience, rather than political pandering.

As a long-time supporter of the studio, I have invested countless hours into their games, which is evident from my Steam profile. I was looking forward to adding more hours to that collection with Starfield, but my enthusiasm waned upon encountering this new direction. The game's narrative and mechanics are what have always drawn me in, not its alignment with certain political viewpoints.

Regrettably, I found myself questioning whether I should continue playing the game. It's evident that the inclusion of woke elements has the potential to disrupt the immersive and escapist experience that has been a hallmark of Bethesda's games. With my gameplay time still well within the two-hour refund threshold on Steam, I'm at a crossroads. Should I persevere, hoping that the game's storytelling and mechanics will overshadow these concerns? Or should I exercise my option to refund, in light of the deviation from the traditional Bethesda experience that I hold dear?

I'm keen to hear your thoughts and perspectives. For fellow fans who have embarked on their Starfield journey, do you share my concerns, or do you feel that the game still has much to offer? Is it worth overlooking the inclusion of woke elements in favor of the overall gameplay? Your input and insights will greatly influence my decision—whether to continue exploring the cosmos of Starfield or to step back in hopes of finding a gaming experience that resonates more closely with the traditional spirit of Bethesda Game Studios.

All of this woke business is just to subvert Western nations and bring about their destruction, just like in Rome, even smaller examples of France and Berlin of the 1920's before the right rose up and went crazy and all hell broke loose!!! It's all very Orwellian. Here's who did it and why

Exactly. You are 100 percent right on here.

People can be whatever they want to be, it's their character and I don't care.

The irony is that you use words like "neurosis", not realizing that your behavior is a textbook example. Obsession is a common symptom of neurosis. One of the most common and significant. And you are obsessed. You probably think about LGBT people more than the woke people you hate so much. Heck, you may think about them more than LGBT people. Chances are you never pass up the opportunity to make a conversation about how much you hate them. Even if it's not relevant to the discussion. It borders on paranoia, at best.

You carry it around on your back. It weighs you down.
In other words, you're the whole damn circus. honk honk.

I AM GAY YOU MORON. I AM JUST SICK OF ALL THIS NONSENSE AS MUCH AS EVERYBODY ELSE IS

Assuming you're not simply lying. What "nonsense" are you sick of, exactly?
You think you can't be a transphobe just because you're gay?

Tell me again how you think my consideration for trans people is going to prevent us from achieving interstellar travel.

You do realize using the term "woke" makes you party to the own agenda in which you are against... just throwing that out there. A lack of free thinking and bias outside media.

You dont have to use the pronoun They if you dont want. And if you are a man you are not forced to identify as a woman. Believe me, you are free to be a MAN if you want that.

Jesus said he is a god, half of the planet are ok with it. Now you get upset that 0.0001% people claim they are neither man or woman?

TLDR: Do not care what pronoun people use, it won't change reality and reality will always be whatever it wants to be.

Or when they think they are one of 70+ made up genders right?

Never ever read such a pathetic review as this one.
It's not even a review it's just some rambling of someone who isn't mentally sane.
From everything written you can clearly get it's a republican ameircan who wrote it.
Nothing about the game all political rambling.

all I did was name my character and played the game. Being hung up on trivial thing like that is...well trivial
