Achievements Not Unlocking

I launched into space for the first time and was supposed to get an achviement but I didn't get one and they aren't showing up that the game even has any on Steam?!

I haven't used console commands or mods, I fat fingered the tilde though but I never used the console. I have a feeling I'm going to have to restart...

I have never touched tilde, used mods, or done anything except hit "New Game" and "Continue." I have gotten no achievements and I am on Mars and already did everything on Luna.

I didn't get it the first time either but i restarted and got it.

I didn't get "For all, into the Starfield" or "one small step" but I've received other achievements.

Had to log a ticket with Bethesda support.

Quitting via console (qqq) doesn't. (Note that this is the fastest way to quit all modern Bethesda games. No loading to the menu, etc., just quit to desktop in an instant...)

Seeing my friends getting them, and not I. I did have to launch the game via drop down though. Let's see if restarting remedies

True. (Though that does remind me that some newer games rebind Alt+F4 to "quit to menu" or some other BS. Out of spite, I force close those games with Task Manager...)

Just played a bit more and find that my achievements also stopped unlocking. Should have gotten 'Into The Unknown,' but it's still grayed out...
Not a major concern, but I'm reading about various inconsistencies between platform versions, so maybe it does have something to do with "advanced access..."

Same here. I haven't gotten a single achievement and I'm roughly 40 hours into the game. Restarting Steam seems to have worked though, but only for achievements earned after that point. I wonder if it happened because I had the Steam client opened already at the time the game unlocked, or whether it was just bad luck.

If they don't fix this somehow (they could have the game look at the save and report them retroactively or something), I won't exactly be happy about it.

Having the same issue here, I've got one achievement but some of the others that should've unlocked, such as joining Constellation and going into space? Nope. Like others, never touched the console.

Restarting the PC worked. Wish I could say why . . .
