Controller issues

The game doesn't recognize left bumper at all on any controller I own wired or otherwise but does recognize left trigger.

I bound Sprint to that on my Xbox controller. I think I had to hold it a second or two for it to work. Not sure, I was too busy with other stuff. I mean, is Sprint a toggle or a hold anyway?
