Why do people act surprised when Bethesda releases a buggy game?
Why do people keep acting surprised that a new Bethesda game has more bugs than an Amazon rainforest?

I'm old enough to remember when Daggerfall came out and it was a buggy, unoptimized mess. It still is a buggy, unoptimized mess because they gave up fixing it.

When Morrowind came out, it crashed harder than Rudy Guiliani after an all-night cocaine binge.

Oblivion was released with a fraction of the promised features (remember when they promised Radient AI where all the NPCs would have wants and needs like in The Sims?), watered down graphics (they removed the full per-pixel lighting because of consolitis), ran like total ass and the game crashed more often than a drunk driver.

Fallout 3 simulated the reliability of using one of those vacuum tube computers in the game and it had that awful Games for Windows Live crap and all the problems that caused with modding and such.

Fallout 4's creaky ass code makes Joe Biden look like a spry youngling.

Fallout 76, well we don't even need to go there, that's how bad that was at release.

Skyrim was the only time in history that they ever released a game in a half-decent state at launch.

Every Bethesda game has some sort of unofficial bug fix mod that fixes tons of bugs.

Why would anyone preorder Starfield and then be surprised that a new Bethesda game is buggy and unoptimized?

Because most people are incapable of learning. The devs know modders will run along to fix problems thats why they think they can get away with it lmao

I'm just going by all the posts here.
The winner of the Rawest Line of the Week award goes to "Fallout 4's creaky ass code makes Joe Biden look like a spry youngling."

several hours no bugs, dunno what game your playing, all the reviews i've watched say barely any and none of them frequent or game breaking.

Give it time. Every Bethesda game invariably receives an unofficial patch mod because of all of the quest bugs and bugged gameplay mechanics.
