Can you share your LG settings as well as nividia's colour settings? Are you in PC mode on your LG?

Never copy other peoples TV settings that are possibly off the chart. Stick to natural settings and shut off all those enhancers. That works for almost any game, movie, TV Show. You only mess with TV settings, if you're on console and have no other option to fix the visual flaws in games. On PC use the driver settings and make game specific profiles, if possible.

The ones mentioned are in this thread but I wouldn't recommend using them as they're for that particular monitor/ TV.
The settings you are looking for are gamma, shadow, luminance/ brightness (dunno what it's called) and contrast. Crank up that luminance up a bit, reduce gamma, contrast and shadow should be increased, too. And: don't forget the color temperature.
Brightness/ Luminance should be high enough to blend the sun into its flare. If you see the ball, than it needs increasing. Shadows should be darkish but not Black in broad daylight and color temperature has the Power to remove that awful fog. Just fiddle around with these options, it's not that hard. Until today I didn't even know Nvidia drivers could do that. ;-)
Very useless mansplaining dude.

I already solved it, as I said in this very thread, with my monitor presets and some fine tuning.
Nobody asked for this obvious "reduce gamma, check color and contrast etc" or nothing was said about copying others tv config.

Its so obvious its insulting, hence my admitedly triggered reply.

I was simply curious and asking more details on what did that user change. I think you jumped too early to teach somebody basic stuff, even if I think your message had some good will.

To repeat at least one other.
Reshade fixes this mostly.
You can't get full HDR out of it. But you can at least get real blacks, high contrast and remove the smear of mustard off the inside of your monitor!

maybe the creation engine doesnt support HDR

Good i seen this post, I was thinking about getting this game if they optimise it better for my Oled G8 but if they have this kind of issues i probably won't buy it unless they add proper HDR and optimise performance.

Without HDR it's also ♥♥♥♥. No contrast at all, the greyish filter all over everything... Such a wasted potential.

Their is a fix on Nexus Mods and it worked great for myLG C1 OLED in HDR mode still.
It is the LUT filters. I will make a video in a couple of minutes and upload it.

Waiting. I'm running a Lg Ultra gear Oled based off the C2 panel and the game looks like crap. Anything to fix it.

thx for the efforts

Take the LG monitor off of game mode in the monitor menu. Acess via the little button at bottom of screen.
Just calibrate colors thorugh your preferences in nvidia geforce experience. I did and it looks great. The settings provided by others never will be looks the same for you, because every display is different.

This is the style of this game, it simulates old movies from 60s, there were no OLEDs in 60s

I tried the fix mentioned earlier, it was eh, uninstalled right after. The way the graphics look will be a work in progress for a while, you get used to them but still think to yourself "damn its hazy in here or something" a lot.

"Very useless mansplaining dude."

For me to mansplain shouldn't I be even aware that you are a female?

Well, nonetheless:

I explained all those things because you asked for settings being posted in this very thread as I mentioned before. Those settings are for the NVIDIA drivers not for the TV set. I don't see any reason for me to search for and quote those settings as you are perfectly capable to do that by yourself.

That said: Chillax, I'll never answer any of your questions again. Promise

Mansplaining...jeez

So i was able to use the NVIDIA gamma, contrast, brightness, vibrant settings to get the game looking pretty darn good. The blacks are much deeper on my OLED and the bright lights are close to HDR. It's not HDR, but it's way better. Looks good enough i was able to focus on playing through some of the beginning of the game and seeing some of the systems, and I gotta say. It's good. The Main campaign so far is interesting, and despite all of the load screens, I am playing long enough that I'm getting familiar with more of the controls in and out of the ship and menus, and have started to fall into a groove. A rythem if you will, of adventuring in space and on a couple planets in my ship, that I have taken some time to learn about. If this keeps up, I am to love this game. so far, I'm starting to Dig it.
