Failed to create save game

I cant play the game since its failing to save the game. Anyone else ?

It's creating saved games for me, but attempting to load them crashes the game.

saves, exit save, quick save, auto save work on my win 11
they are in folder
Documents\My Games\Starfield\Saves

check your AV?
have windows one drive running?
check windows security/controlled folder access?

neither steam nor the game installer nor the game make any changes to windows security

I have rebooted and also tried running steam as administrator - nothing worked so.

rebooting wont change your antivirus or windows one drive

disable one drive, delete the starfield folder from there.
just fixed it.

if you need windows one drive for something, add exclusions/exceptions.
see if that works

stopped onedrive and antivirus not running - still wont save - anyone got any more ideas ?
