PC performance is terrible !

I cant even hold stable 60 frames on the lowest settings possible and in 1080p. I never seen a game with worse optimization than this one. You guys can shill all you want, but there is absolutely no reason for a game that has the same graphics as Fallout 4 and is not even open world to run this incredible bad. This is unacceptable.

Just in 2023 alone i played on my pc Resident Evil 4, Armored Core, Baldur's Gate 3, Dead Space, Returnal and Diablo 4, all of them on ultra settings with 60+ fps. And all of these games look much much better than Starfield. So stop the excuses, its not a hardware problem its a Bethesda problem.

No, it's really ♥♥♥♥. I've got a 3080 and an i9 and I get 20-50fps, lowest in custscenes. Picking options from the bloody menu is laggy. Options to absolutely nothing.

Kinda sad because I can play any game out now at 4k 60 FPS which is all I need

Also changing settings barely changes frame rates. Going to 4K low settings downscaling 50% with or without FSR gets me to 50 FPS

Do all y'all have low HZ refresh monitors? Vsync with a 60hz monitor and you'll get locked to 60, just sayin'.

I had to turn most setting down to medium to get ~75 fps on a 3080

If your changing graphics settings and your fps is not changing. Yeah your likely cpu bound in that case.

You could either try decreasing, or increasing the resolution, that may help.

No, I agree, it is my biggest disappointment so far. I'm even using 50% render scale and lowered shadows to medium, RTX 3070, and 5800x3D 32gig ram outside its like below 60 fps and 45-55 damn.

I can run Ultra modded Skyrim se with over 1200+ mods (which is actually the most demanding game I have in terms of graphics, and eating up GPU and VRAM) This game should not look like this, and run this poorly in 2023. Kind of disappointed in the performance and optimization aspects of the game... Looks like im gonna buy a 4090 to go above 60fps at 1440p. Bethesda's creation engine is truly sh it.
