AAA games are held to a different standard - meaning, game journos are amateur ignorants who'd do real journalism if they could, doling out 10s to any piece of crap with enough advertising money thrown at them.
Nowhere have I seen or read anything about this game being the holy grail, just a made up lie coming from you.
Critic reviews, are mostly shill, or have some ulterior interest. Most hardly play the game for more than a few hours.
I think 88 is very, very generous.
Removing every 10/10 rating from Metacritic would help to get a more realistic view tho (imho) - most of those are obscure blogs (?) or whatever.
I dont exactly liked Fallout4 vanilla (or Skyrim), so I can just chill and play CP2077 expansion, finish NG+ and ++ in Armoured Core 6, wrap up Blasphemous 2 just to be ready to start BG 3 around christmas...
