You're right. It was way to positive about the game. Should have been 4/10
no ur just have a different type of person on here, like sony fan boys saying ign suck , there have been paid off ext.
Okay, and? I'm like a lot of people. I'm unlike a lot of people.
DF's early pre-review for the console versions show it runs very well and is pretty much a locked 30fps other than a couple dips in two of the largest cities.
they are going to have differing opinions
what people should do is find a reviewer that likes the same games as them
that way they can listen to someone they agree with and make an informed decision

I fully expected the criticism about barren planets. I had this concern even before we had the first starfield showcase. That's why I wasn't mad about there being limited sectors or boundaries. Because there isn't much point to exploring the whole planet if there's nothing unique awaiting players.
Some people probably play these games and mostly just stick to the main quest and side quests. Apparently that's this games bright spot. So someone could say I don't care about that exploration crap and think this is the best game in a long time.
Honestly to me this game sounds like Mass Effect/Outer Worlds with a bunch of crappy empty copy/paste content thrown in to say "we have 1000 worlds to explore"
i mean from what i've read you can still go in one direction for like 40min before you hit an invisible wall. so at the end of the day, you have a bigger game than fo4 but its split up into planets , thus they create loading zones. I get thats not as much fully open world, but i mean what can you do when you have a game based on traveling around planets as the goal.
