Starfield Performance issues/ Possible Nvidia not compatible.
Hey guys, I created this discussion because i have to ask some things about this game.

Honestly i am not hyped for this game, not a single bit because of what they showed in every showcase they did, this game may have some serious issues with performance and also with the Nvidia Users....soo does anyone know if this is actually gonna be true? like The performance was literally SH*T when they showcased the game. What about the Nvidia problems that people are talking about? is it true that you need to have an AMD GPU since they are partnered with them? so having Nvidia will be problematic.

Please tell me that i am wrong in everything that i stated here, i want to give it a try as i have played almost every Bethesda game out there, but im really scared that i might waste 70 Euros or even 100 Euros to a Crappy performance game with 30FPS and since i have Nvidia too.

Why fear it? You have two hours to try it and if you don't like it you can click the refund button. No harm done. And you can play it with Nvidia.

kinda worrisome but lets hope for the best, as stated above we have 2h to play-test it.

dude its compatible, why would they add a minimum requirements for nvidia in the first place... game was made in PC and that studio got a LOT of PC for testing purposes...
kinda weird that they only test it on AMD LOL

If Nvidia has issues running it and it's not the same as AMD, that's because Nvidia's driver for it is garbage. Just like the last 6 months + have been. Zero to do with "bias" from the devs...

The way the game lagged when they showcased their gameplay was very worrisome like i said. but i guess i will watch some streamers soon playing and see from there.

its been confirmed the fps looked ♥♥♥♥ during the showcase because of the bitrate not the game itsself. The game actually runs at a smooth 60+ fps according to a few reviewers who were allowed to come out and explain it.

I see, thanks for commenting. I guess we will see what happens when people start playing soon. Cheers!

Digital Foundry outright stated that the videos we've seen don't represent the final quality of how the game runs.
As for the Nvidia thing, I highly doubt it'll be gimped as you fear.. i'd go so far as to say that's paranoid and unjust in these times.. the uproar would be catastrophic for Bethesda

Uh... You mean the GPU brand that like 70% of PC gamers have? Lmao!

Yeah I don't think you got anything to worry about.

Nvidia latest driver is game ready for Starfield
Sharkon Aug 31, 2023 @ 3:43am
current GameReady Drivers for Nvidia support Starfield already. tbh I think the game is hammering more on the CPU not the GPU. yeah the graphics are nice but not 2023 AAA nice.
ItachiDeltaForce Aug 31, 2023 @ 3:45am
it'll be fine im sure
