86 is good? and that score will change over the coming week or so. For me, 90+ are must play near perfect games. 80-89 are great. 70-79 are good etc I mean 70/100 is a 7/10 right? So 86 is an 8.6/10 which is not a bad score at all

only a part of metacritic reviews is reliable and it's maybe less than 1% of the user reviews that mention a game's shortcomings.
the professional reviews are not bad either but they usually shy away from giving bad scores unless it's a solo reviewer
