I wouldn't buy from cdkeys myself through, it's not an official reseller, they keys might or might not be stolen, if they are, your game might be deleted at some point in the future, there are official resellers with comparable price that simply take less % from some game releases to grow.
This is just stupid and false information put out to make imbeciles pay more out of fear. It's not a stolen code or illegitimate site. I've been using them for over a decade without a single issue as have thousands of people.
CDKeys is not the wild west like some key websites out there. They are the seller, not some random guy using a stolen credit card like on G 2 A.
They get their keys legitimately.

click on your name in the top right -> account details -> view licenses and product key activations
or you can check your edition via steamdb
