Multiple followers?

So 1 of the tier 4 skills is to allow 4 active crew members, higher ranks of this increases upto 8 max.

But why say active crew vs just crew? Unfortunately was only description, but wondered if this may count as crew who will follow? Since higher rank will take time to find out, but curious why such high ranked skill when ship itself also has crew limit.

Probably means crew members active with their skills affecting the ship itself.

Since remember in the videos like the Annoying fan has their own skills.
It might apply to the ship itself if you have them active.

Thats possible as well, but now I am wondering if crew is not just capped by ship specs but by this as well? Or can a ship that supports 10 crew only have 3-4 active and what makes them active? I saw assigning crew to ships/outposts but we havent seen any sub assigning like research, production or anything else.

I did notice in another branch that gave extra crew to outposts as well. So many mysteries to solve tomorrow

I've been asking about this since the beginning. Can you have multiple people follow you actively on missions? No one's answering it.

I would love it if so. I used the mod in FO4 and they really dont help much in combat, but it still feels cool to have gunfights and see everyone taking cover, occasionally tossing out a line, while I have to kill almost everyone.

I can get annoying tho in crowded places.

Unfortunately just one, I don't like games where you have to fight alone hundreds of enemies, and you don't have the option to form squads at least of 4 members
