I don't think OP claimed it was ultra settings.
Also....FSR in what setting? And how stable is it. If it doesn't stutter that helps a LOT.
Also as far as I know a 2080Ti can't run resizeble BAR.
I'll make this game run silk smooth on the 2080ti at at least 60. Mostly high settings.
It's fine to create dread click articles based on rumors and ChatGPT generated stats.
I don't have to listen
People tried this right as CP was launching too.
For example Forza Motorsport has minimum specs (low settings), recommended specs (high settings) and ideal specs (ultra settings). Recommended specs is a Nvidia RTX 2080 Ti. But don't expect to play the game on ultra with that GPU. Because ideal specs (ultra settings) are listed with an RTX 4080.
Also often there is a setting like shadows where if just changed from ultra to high you can save a ton of fps with often very little visual difference. If the tester tried to play the game on ultra settings with an old GPU, I mean what did he expect?
6 years eh? Learn to count loool
Also, most of people is not very tech savy here. Its a 3070 equivalent, so the "how old" thing is pointless.
We could be comparing one of most powerful supercars of 10 years ago, and even if "older" they are more powerful than 90% of cars released after. Its the same. 2080ti / 3070 is not for "games at mid settings, 1080p res and less than 60 fps".
You’re wasting time posting common sense. It’s a known fact that game development is all about activism rather than making well optimised games. Bugthesda optimisation has always been garbage - thus their games are stuttery mess even when the system used exceeds ‘recommended’ requirements. I didn’t really read the topics but I bet it’s full of shills writing garbage like “recommended system reqs are intended for running the game at 1080 with medium settings!” What about minimum then? 720 all low? Lmao
cpu: 3800x
gpu: 2080ti
1440p high setting only motion blur medium
dynamic resolution: on
render resolution: around 20 maybe
fsr 2: on
film grain: full
45-60 fps most of the time and
60-70 fps in dungeons and space
Game also heavily relies on CPU, if your CPU is trash then, yea. Try OCing both CPU and GPU. Also, stop downloading Pronz.
Nice. At least I have a 5800x3D. And I'll be disabling all this weird post processing effects (always do)
Apparently he played on high settings, also showing the graphic settings menu. He says he didn't fiddle around with graphic settings, just went with high settings preset. He gets 45-60 fps most of the time, 60-70fps in dungeons and in space. He says it runs smooth and no stutters.
He also says the planet boundary thing while true, is blown out of proportion and not an issue. He says it's GOTY nominee for sure and he would give it a 9.5 or 10/10 easily. He says he hasn't played Oblivion or Morrowind, but that the game is deeper than Fallout 4/Skyrim in RPG mechanics.
So I guess if you have at least recommended specs, you should be good with getting 60fps on medium settings probably. Game most likely still looks great on those settings anyway. If you got better hardware, you should probably be good hitting 60fps constantly on high or even ultra settings.
