Cdkeys used my credit card and bought many games to other people, when i realize this, it was too late. I just had time to blocked my credit card before they buy more games.
I know it was cdkeys because on my bank account, i can track who use the card, what they bought, the location, the amount etc... and the receipt said cdkeys bought games for themself and i supposed they resells these games to others people.
Now, i'm more careful when i buy something on the internet and i don't use third party website to buy games. it's maybe cheaper but there is a risk.
or your computer was infected with malware and compromised your payment info
Games i never ask or buy.
It's not a random guy who stole my credit card but cdkeys.
They bought games for themself and i supposed they resells these game to "clean the money"
So many lies coming from you. Stop lying on the internet. You don't need to lie to people who you will never meet. Save that for your family and friends.
For me, cdkeys are bad.
When someone use your credit card it so shocking, i couldn't sleep for nights.
stop blaming the store for your own incompetence
Some people have and will lose access to their games because of the practice.
So I agree.
"Legit" is a broad term and depends on what is being asked.
Are keys from cdkeys real? Yes
Do they have a contract with the devs/publishers and get their keys directly from them? GMG, yes. CDkeys, highly unlikely.
Are they authorized to sell the game? GMG yes, CDKeys highly unlikely.
Do devs/publishers provide support in the event that there is an issue (eg missing bonus) with the key? Keys from GMG, yes. Keys from CDkeys, no.
Do they provide support in the event that it is an invalid key? Yes, both GMG and CDKeys.
Do they provide support in the event that there is preorder bonus issue with the key? GMG yes, CDKeys maybe but in my case, no help.
Having said that, CDKeys is relatively "legit" when it comes to the reliability of their keys. It's a far better option than buying from g two a. But they are still a gray market seller unlike gmg/fanatical/humble because they are not authorized by the devs/publishers to sell those games and no support will be forthcoming from the latter should any issues crop up.
I have bought a few games from cdkeys before and they were all okay save for one and even then, the problematic one was due to a missing preorder bonus and not because the key was invalid. However, they didn't resolve my preorder bonus issue. That combined with the fact that they are not an authorized seller is why I no longer buy from them. GMG may have more issues but at the very least, the assurance that they have a formal contract with the publisher means a greater chance of resolving any issues that pop up.
This is highly questionable. You are aware that GMG were in a lot of bother over claiming to have contracts with publishers when they didn't, right? In fact many publishers denounced them as not getting their keys directly from them.

You could say that GMG being on Trustpilot with good ratings is enough to prove they're legit, but so other sites, the names of which are banned here for good reason.
That was a long time ago and it's the only one that people can cite whenever they want to say that gmg is shady. They have since cleaned up their act (the majority of their keys came from devs/pubs anyway unlike cdkeys which was never the case) and only deal directly with the publisher. Even in 2030, people will still be dragging that up even though it is ancient history by then.
Moreover, at least ubisoft lists gmg as an official seller, which AAA publisher lists cdkeys as an official seller? You should also be aware that what CDKeys was doing and is still doing is the same as what gmg did back then with the witcher game. So if what gmg did back then was unacceptable with the publishers, what CDkeys is doing right now is not accepable either.

The fact that cdkeys wasn't able to tell me that they source their keys directly from the publisher, when I asked them about it, does not fill me with confidence unlike the rest the other stores that can state that they do for a fact. CDkeys can't claim that otherwise they could be sued for being misleading.
Heck, even if we were to ignore GMG, there are still other legit ones like fanatical, humble, wingamestore and so on that deal directly with the publishers as well so it's not like it has to be gmg when it comes to directly sourced keys.
