It is prob worth a try to test at launch, you can always refund, or decide to do an upgrade from there. Don't know about your current financial conditions, but you could probably get an adequate and much more modern cpu + mobo combo for around 250-300 bucks that would pair well with your 3060 ti (which is probably being limited by your current cpu anyway). Wish I could deliver better news, becoming hardware limited on new games sucks and I definitely empathize.
I decided to bite the bullet and ive ordered a pre seated I9 12900k CPU Mobo combo. probably time i upgraded anyway and thanks for your insight
