should i buy Early access? CANT DECIDE :(
hi, i cant decide if i should buy Early Access or not, i think im going to like this game from gameplay perspective, it reminds me of cyberpunk in some way, i also like Space Setting. Im fighting myself now if i should buy it or just wait 1 week and play on GamePass or just buy normal edition on steam.

Its hard decision, i bought diablo 4 premium edition for Early Access and i regret it. Game is medicore at best. I also bought Final Fantasy 16 and im happy about this one, game was very good.

what do you think?

When does it come out on early access? And when can we preload it?

Just wait and get it once reviews are out and there's some actual gameplay of the final product out. Games these days are very rarely worth the pre-orders, and Bethesda games do have a tendency to have rough launches.

The Starfield review embargo will lift on August 31 04:00 pm UTC. 8 hours before Early access release.

You can Preorder, Pre-download ,watch reviews for 8 hours and even play the game for 2 hours before issuing steam a refund request. As long as you have less than 2 hours playtime and the purchase was made less than 14 days ago you are fine. Just buy it.

Countdown - Preload 30.Aug 00:00 UTC [www.tickcounter.com]

Countdown - Early access 01.Sep 00:00 UTC [www.tickcounter.com]

Buy the upgrade to premium in the game pass for 35 euro. You're not doing anything wrong.

If you have not played bethesda games before i would recommend gamepass first.
Or just go with your initial gut feeling, mine seems to be right (for me)...mostly ;)

My suggestion, for what it's worth, don't get the premium edition for the "early access."

If the goodies in the premium edition appeal to you then get it. If not, just get the regular version. For me, a few days of access isn't worth the extra money.

Plus if you don't get the premium version you can watch the launch bugs without being impacted by them.

This is a Bethesda game and, chances are, the game is going to be buggy on launch for a lot of people. I fully expect the game to either have "mixed reviews" or "mainly negative" due to people being upset that they cannot play on max settings at 240 FPS on a 1060.

Waiting out that initial frantic energy will give you a chance to decide if the game is worth buying with all of its bugs and issues or if it is better to give the game six months or so until a lot of the bugs are fixed.

But, if you feel that potentially playing early is worth the extra money - go for it.
