Thank you for adding to the discussion with your thoughtful post.
I can't wait to start the game.
And for the shortcomings , that was kind of obvious , the ammount of advertised features where not realistic to be deeply implemented , alot of hyped ppl will be frustrated , delicious salt :)
Also, 25 years in the making doesn't mean they've been making the game for 25 years.
I'm expecting the same disjointed experience but we'll see I have my refund on standby lol
What exactly is the difference? How did you get to that cart? Who put your there? What was your crime before getting caught?
It seems that you don't really understand the idea behind Bethesda RPGS - The idea is that your background is whatever YOU choose, because its *gasp* roleplaying. They try to make your character as blank slate and open as possible, so one person could play like an ex-assassin, and the other could play like a chef or whatever.
You are complaining about loading screens when EVERY SINGLE BETHESDA RPG had loading screens for everything - even to get into very small houses.
You are complaining about 4 cities, even though you watched just 40 minutes of gameplay and didn't get to see even a single city - and even after Bethesda confirmed that there are numerous settlements around the galaxy.
You are complaining about in-atmosphere flight, when this game doesn't try to be a space simulator, and it's always been marketed as a Bethesda RPG in a space setting.
You basically don't want to play a Bethesda RPG. Which is fine. But complaining about the game for being a Bethesda RPG while we knew that ever since it was announced is just ridiculous.
Go play space simulators like Elite instead.
