So should I play on Xbox series X and get 4k graphics...or on PC and only get 1080 but get way more mods?
I'm torn. PC means more mods and probably they work better, but Xbox Series X means 4k graphics and better framerate.

Are you ok with 30fps...? Thats the only real question

Don't forget your barely-30-fps-in-low-density-areas for the Xbox version. You're going to be looking at 15-20 fps most of the time.

Not quite - from all reports it holds 30fps pretty solidly most of the time...

Xbox's not getting 4k, its below 1440p up to 4k 30fps.

Nothing beats PC. 1080p is a good trade off over a slideshow on a console

All I know is I can get 120 fps max on my TV/Xbox, assuming the game gives me that much.

Playing this game on console is a travesty.

Isn't it so that if you buy the XBox game on Microsoft Store you will have the 'XBox Anywhere' and 'Xbox Live' meaning you can start to play on XBox and at some time change to PC if you want. Alas the mods will not all be transferable AFAIK.

Thats some BS. They advertise it as 4k though. Who wants to bet they hold out and put out a "Starfield 4k version" like how they did all those versions of Skyrim? I think it's a safe bet.

Not everyone has a 4K-capable PC and monitor, do you realize this?

The game is FPS limited on Xbox: 1440 on the S and 4k on the X.

I would go with the 1080p option on PC. You can always upgrade it little by little if you want.

It was designed for consoles. Even the UI is designed for a controller
Going to run like crap on PC since AMD has a contract with Bethesda

Its far cheaper in my experience to have a 4k tv and xbox series x than a 4k computer. You need a cooling system, not fans, which is expensive, then a monitor capable of doing 4k, the 4k graphics card and who knows what else. Xbox Series X was 500 dollars and then just needed a good 4k TV.

I cannot. It is crazy expensive to upgrade to 4k. I am told it would be cheaper to save up for a 4k premade PC. 2k though is a doable upgrade though for my current PC.

Someone said on Xbox Series X it WILL go to 4k? I said I had Series X, not S. So will it or will it not go to 4k on Xbox Series X?
