Gaming Scandal of 2023 - you cant explore planets freely!!!
Just hopping on this train too because its hilarious.
What did you all expect? Run in a straight line and circle the planet till you come back to your ship 7 hours later?
Now you have sectors and its still the same as free exploration, why you all so crybabies?

You know a game is good and people don't have a lot of legitimate complaint when a situation like this is considered a "scandal".
herbstwerk Aug 26, 2023 @ 5:33pm
The only scandal here is how many users are either unable to use the search functionality or think they are so important that their opinion need another thread on as same topic while 2-3 of them are already present on the first page.

"I like when people lie to my face.", the thread.

Please show us where they've said you could walk or jet-pack around a whole planet seamlessly.

Especially when it is not true.

the real scandal is no gore or dismemberment

Weren't there already about 3 threads discussing this?

If you want to experience circumventing a planet on foot. Walk out your door and keep walking.

Nobody lied... They never said you could seamlessly walk around the entire planet in one go... They said you can fully explore a planet meaning you can land wherever you want and you can... People need to stop making assumptions and being snowflakes...

So true.

It's not released yet, but I do think that the Starfield forums have been extremely tame compared many other video game releases this year, including Baldur's which has been a train wreck for a couple of months.

Starfield has avoiding controversy. It's gone under the radar like a submarine stalking its prey, hunting from the depths as it prepares to torpedo the competition. A silent calm.

If walking for forty minutes is the best that people can do, this game will be a frightening adversary come September.

Leaking up to Skyrim Bethesda put the hammer down hard on the official boards. Duplicate topics got merged into existing ones. It was glorious, and I miss it. If the topic was there, users were expected to use it, not use the new topic button for their Very Special Own Reply.

I wouldn't walk for forty minutes in Fallout 4, so I'm certainly not going to miss the lack in Starfield ... assuming there even is one.

Bro having sectors on planets will be just as good as having all round exploration. No one really cares if the chunk is bigger then the map of fallout 4 just to meet a border. Just get into your ship and land elsewhere lol
