Cyberpunk 2077 vibes
I don't know about anyone else but watching everything for the last couple of years especially with 76 I'm getting distinct vibe from the Bethesda that this is gonna probably be cyberpunk 2077 situation, God I hope they prove me wrong

God heard that.

Consider yourself pre-proven.

See you in September.

If it is a Cyberpunk 2077 situation then thats awesome, absolutely loved the game even at launch, sure it had some problems but it was still a blast, didnt even have any bugs on my first playthrough.

its just Fallout 4 in space in their ten squintrillion year old engine, of course its going to be a Bugthesda marvel.

If the Bethesda singleplayer game (TES/Fallout) formula is intact then so will game be.

From everything I've read, heard, and seen, I am really curious why people keep assuming that it'll be like some other subpar launch? Literally this is the most polished game that Bethesda is releasing. In a week you'll see.

Played Cyberpunk fine on day 1. Their main problem was that they even tried to make last-gen console versions. Without those ones, it would have merely been a normally-buggy launch.

And Starfield has had an extra ~9 months to bake. Really not sure where these "omg, I'm afraid it's going to suck!" things are coming from.

its bethesda not cd project red. the witcher 3 was a big buggy mess to, but not like cyberpunk(still buggy today) naughtydog didnt even fixed today the last of us. cant get over stable 60 fps and my pc melt while im playing it.

bethhesdagames working for me out of the box. never had any issuses with gamebreaking bugs. only funny stuff like animations or glitching.

I would say that is true for my experience with fallout 4 barely rarely did I experience an issue and when I did it was mostly to do with the settlement system, but fallout 76 was a different beast holy crap it was BAD

Fallout 76 was an online, multiplayer, live-service game. Many of it's problems were due to that. Starfield (like Fallout 4) is none of those things.

I don't think that the Bethesda that made fallout 4 is the same one thats making this especially considering how fallout 76 was handled

erm maybe you weren't around for the fallout 76 fiasco I mean I hope they prove me wrong but they haven't exactly... demonstrated that in the past with the exception of fallout 4

Fallout 4 was a broken mess of game but nope they had to tinker with Corvega car factory and not fix any of the absolute garbage of the main map. like how the cells reset in certain places and holes in roofs.

Oh I certainly was. Purchased directly from Bethesda when it used their launcher. After playing early access, I refunded it just before the actual release. However, comparing Starfield to Fallout 76 isn't the best comparison.

That's right.

I ain't discrediting your experience but from my perspective having played both on the PC and Xbox One fallout 4 was the most stable of all the bethesda's games I've ever played again the only annoying thing that I had with fallout 4 on both console and PC was this annoying bug that the settlement system had where if you're away for too long the resources will read as negative or zero still to this day I don't know how to fix it
