Starfield
Intel i5 9600k?
I have an intel i5 9600k in my pc I know all the processors in the recommended specs say you need a processor with 6 cores and 12 threads, what are some opinions on how my processor should handle. I also have 16 gb of ram an ssd and a rtx 2060 Super. Just curious on others opinions who know more than I do lol.

It'll probably be OK with it being a 9th generation CPU.

Hhhmmm..... I note that both min, and rec are 6 core with hyperthreading.... I just hope it runs decent on my i7-9700k, 8 cores, no hyperthreading.
The lack of hyperthreading might cause issues, it causes it to have performance potential significantly lower than that of even the 2600x in the minimums, despite it's higher single core performance.
Basically if you want to enjoy the game to it's full potential you might want to upgrade the CPU, though only do so if you have detrimental performance issues.

It's an 8/9 intel, their upgraded paths are all expensive with limited benefits compared to new or just recently finished platforms. 220 for a 8700k or ~320 or so for a 9900kf(500 for K).
I have the same set up and starfield runs alright. I downloaded on my hdd and it ran bad but moved it to ssd and it has performed without issue on low graphics. A little slow on the loading screens
I have an i5 96kf, 16gb RAM, RTX 3060 12GB, using nvme hdd... What do you suggest guy? What do you think?
i play Starfield on ultra settings and with ReShade installed on my i7-9700K, 32GB RAM and a RTX 3050 .. and it runs smooth with 50 to 60 fps
