This is what it says on the Amd Rewards help center, which is a bummer. I read somewhere that Steam users can preload the game from the 30th of august, but I guess that doesn't count for people who got it though AMD Rewards then.
As for the amdrewards codes you get those directly from the place you purchased the product provided they are a participating retailer in the promo. This is also stated in the rules of the promotion and to check with the retailer before purchase if they are participating and how go obtain a code from them if they are. I got my video card off amazon and few days after delivery I got my reward code emailed to me as stated in amazon's rules of participation.
This sucks.
