Anyone already got a key from AMD Rewards?

As preloading is available on all platforms i wonder when will the keys be send?

Well that's unfortunate. Someone else said they got an amd hardware promotion code before and it they rec'd it just a couple days prior to release. I hope they're right and not you! LOL No offense.

I already got my key, I pre ordered off Fanatical. Bethesda is usually good with official key partners. I pre ordered 76 and had gotten my copy a week ahead.

That's a bit mean considering pre-load is earlier.

Thanks. I did find that post. Don't like it, but I found it. So looks like the game goes live for my time zone at 8pm on the 31st. I won't get a key until the first, and then have to download it, which is significant. Hopefully the support person is just giving a canned 'Sept 1st' response. Have to wait and see I guess.

But if AMD can't (or refuses to) actually deliver on the full benefits of the Premium edition they shouldn't be offering these keys as a hardware sales incentive. Have to wait and see what actually happens but if I'm not loading into the SF menu at 8:01PM on Aug 31st then that's AMD dropping the ball as far as I'm concerned.

Hopefully they come through. We'll see.

I just sent this support request to AMD from the AMD Rewards page Support link. We'll see what kind of response I get. :)

"I purchased and registered a 7900xt. Supposed to get a Starfield Premium code for it. Given it is a global release the game goes live in my time zone at 8PM August 31st. The only information I can find on this topic is that I will not receive a code until Sept 1st, which is the following day. Considering the size of the download who knows if I'll even get to play it then. So the question is, when can I expect to receive the Steam key? Also, will I get the benefit of a pre-download as other Steam key users get? Thank you for your timely response."

That link above was from three weeks ago, before any details of actual release were announced or any pre-load details were addressed. Hopefully AMD isn't sticking to that position. Green Man has already sent out codes to its customers to redeem on Steam earlier this week, so there really is no reason why AMD can't do the same. I hope we will have something by the 30th, which is when pre-laoding can begin.

I've not been prompted to do this, nor was I informed via any media or fine print stating this is necessary. Where did you read this, or is this an assumption on your part because you see some place to link your account?

It was the same for past amd redemptions as well. The vendor you bought from ought to have advised you on the procedure.

Either way, it's spelt out in AMD's own term and conditions, you can have a read:

Select the one (not "japan only") for starfield.

Under "To access starfield premium or standard edition", you should see :

i. Upon successful verification as set forth above, Participant will be directed to log in to or sign up for a Steam account via a window on amdrewards.com. Participant must link their Steam account to their AMDRewards.com account.
